In addition to our 8:30 and 11:00 services we offer special worship services including Christmas Love Feast,
Christmas Eve Holy Communion, Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday and Good Friday, Sunrise Resurrection Celebration
and other various worship opportunities. See our

Here is a detailed list of our Ministry activities:
Nursery
- Infant and toddler nursery is available during all church services for children ages 0-3 years.
Children's Ministry
A ministry to pre-school and elementary children that communicates God's love,
teaches solid knowledge of the Bible, and builds positive self-esteem.
- Children's Church each Sunday at 11AM worship service
- Summer Vacation Bible School: Three years - Junior High
- Rainbow Group: (K-6th grade) Meets weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm
during the school year for Bible and missions training.
Youth Ministries
- Junior High Youth (Grades 6-8): Meets weekly on Wednesday evenings.
- Senior High Youth (Grades 9-12): Meets weekly on Wednesday evenings as well
as the 1st and 3rd Sunday afternoons.
- Various Service Projects throughout the year (Car wash, Valentine's Social, etc.)
- Carolina Cross Connection missions retreat each year.
- Confirmation Classes: Taught annually by the pastor to prepare 6th graders and
older teens for a personal faith commitment to Christ and full church
membership.
Music Ministries
- Adult Choir practices Mondays at 7:30 pm.
- Christmas Cantata presented by Adult Choir.
- Children's Choir practices Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.
- Children's Choir sings every Sunday at 11:00 am worship.
- Christmas musical and other dramas during the year presented by the children and youth.
- Praise Band practices Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, leads the worship at 8:30 am service.
- Concerts and special services throughout the year.
Family Ministries
- Family Game Night monthly for all ages.
- October Family Fun Festival.
- Grandparents, Mother's, and Father's Day recognition.
- Special recognition at worship of all groups in the church.
Men's & Women's Groups
- Annual Men's Golf Retreat.
- United Methodist Women: Meet Tuesday after 2nd Sunday each month at 7:00pm.
- Senior Group: Meets each month for various outings. Times will vary.
- Quilt Club: Meets 3rd Thursday each month at 7:00 pm.
Bible Studies
- Disciple Bible Studies: 34 week program offered once a year at two levels.
- Wednesday Night Alive: Studies at 7:00 pm in Spring and Fall. Features
meal at 6:00, studies for all ages at 7:00.
- Study courses offered regularly based on different topics. We focus on what the
Bible says and how it relates to Christian living today.
Stephen Ministries
- One to one Christian care-giving ministries offered by well trained lay ministers.
Errand Angel
- Transportation ministry offered to senior citizens in western Stanly area.
Our service is free and offered by committed volunteers who love Jesus and seek to serve him.
Trips to doctor, grocery store and other daily trips are included.
